An article in Chemistry of Materials on microphase separation of block copolymers in double emulsion droplets has been accepted for publication

Microcapsules of thin nanoshell membranes were prepared by the evaporation-induced self-assembly of poly(styrene)-block-poly(butadiene)-block-poly(styrene) triblock copolymers inside the oil phase of a water-in-oil-in-water double emulsion. The internal morphology of the membrane could be modulated into lamellae, perforated lamellae, cylindrical and spherical phases by controlling the volume fractions of styrene and butadiene blocks.
